Step-by-step

For most users

Use your preferred client's "Import subscription URL" flow.
  1. Install a supported client (above).
    Shadowrocket · Clash Verge · v2rayNG · NekoBox
  2. Open the app → find "Subscription" or "Config URL".
  3. Paste your 404 VPN URL, tap Import.
    Or scan the QR code.
  4. Pick a route (HK is fastest from mainland).
  5. Toggle the VPN on.

Router / whole-home

OpenWrt, GL.iNet, Xiaomi with OpenWrt, pfSense.
  1. SSH to router or open LuCI.
  2. Install sing-box or mihomo package.
  3. Paste the URL as a remote provider.
  4. Apply config & enable service.
  5. Every connected device is now routed.
    Uses only 1 of your device slots.
